Dr. Maheshwar Singh Associate Professor (Political Science) M.A, Ph.D (JNU) |
After having received a Doctorate from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University in 2000, Dr. Singh worked for three years as a Researcher in the Tribal Studies Unit of the Indian Social Institute, New Delhi. In 2003, he joined the faculty of the Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur as an Assistant Professor of Political Science and remained there until 2006. For the next three years Dr. Singh taught as a Reader/Associate Professor of Political Science in Chandigarh. He arrived at National Law University, Delhi as Associate Professor of Political Science in July, 2009.
Dr. Singh has published on wide variety of subjects ranging from security to role of Law in democratisation with focus on the marginal groups in India. He is actively involved in various collaborative research programmes in both India and abroad.
Dr. Singh has presented research papers in National and International Conferences. Currently, Dr. Singh is researching on Education Law and Policy in India with focus on inclusive education.
