A graduate of Harvard Law School, USA, Professor John G. Shulman is an internationally recognized expert in negotiation and conflict resolution. He has worked with the Harvard Program on Negotiation on a project in the Middle East addressing conflict over Gaza and the West Bank. He has provided negotiation and conflict resolution training to United Nations personnel at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. John has conducted numerous conflict resolution programmes throughout India, including programmes sponsored by the National Institute of Rural Development (Hyderabad), the National Council of Rural Institutes (Hyderabad), the High Court of Kerala (Kochi), the People’s Council for Social Justice (Kerala), and the High Court of Gauwahati. John is also a founder of the Center for Negotiation and Justice at William Mitchell College of Law, USA.
John has written numerous books and other publications on negotiation and conflict resolution. He has also written a children’s book, entitled “The Lama, the Snow Leopard and the Thunder Dragon,” and co-wrote and directed the human rights movie ‘JUSTICE.’
