The National Law University, Delhi is conducting Training Programme for Controllers of Patents on the request of Intellectual Property India, Government of India, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Deptt. of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Mumbai.
This is the first time that such a course is being conducted by a Law University in India to orient the Controller of Patents and to upgrade their skills to understand various aspects of law such as, fundamental principles of constitution, civil procedures, administrative law, interpretation of statutes, judgement writing in addition to various issues in the Patent Law.
The fully residential two week training of first batch of 30 Officers will commence from 4 October 2010, till 17 October, 2010. This will be followed by the next batch in November, 2010.
