Moot Court Competitions

CONSPECTUS OF MOOT COURT ACTIVITIES

• The NLUD team comprising of Alokika Singh, Pratyush Panjwani & Harshit Bansal participated attained the Runners-up in the "FIAT JUSTITIA" National Moot Court Competition 2011 held on February 18-20, 2011 organised by Ambedkar Government Law Collged, Chennai. NLUD team also won Second Best Memorial award.
• The NLUD team comprising of Vishwam Jindal, Sameer Dawar & Devesh Saboo reached the Semi Finals of 12th D.M. Harish Memorial Government College International Moot court Competition, 2011 held on February 11-13, 2011 at Government Law College, Mumbai.
• The NLUD team comprising of Akshay BD, Ankit Chauhan, Sarvjeet Singh and Shreya Rastogi won the Surana & Surana India North Rounds of the 52nd Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition, jointly organised Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow. In addition to the Best Team Award, Akshay BD was adjudged the Best Student Advocate and Shreya Rastogi was adjudged the Best Advocate in the Final Round. The team would now be participating in the White & Case International Rounds to be held at the Capital Hilton Hotel, Washington DC from March 20-26, 2011.
• The NLUD team comprising of Harshad Pathak, Medhavi Singh and Rayan Azmi participated attained the Runners-up in the 7th K.K. Luthra Memorial Moot Court Competition, organised by University of Delhi held on January 15-16, 2011 at DU Campus.
• The NLUD team comprising of Sanam Tripathi, Krutika Misra and Harsh Makhija participated in the 15th International Environmental Moot Court Competition (North India Rounds), organised by Stetson University, Florida held on 26-28 November, 2010 at SNDT Women's University, Mumbai. Sanam Tripathi was awarded Third Best Student Advocate.
• The NLUD team comprising of Renuka Rajan, Punya Varma and Kunika Pandey has participated in the 1st NLIU Juris Corp. National Corporate Law Moot Court Competition, held at the National Law Institute University, Bhopal, between November 26-28, 2010.
• The NLUD team comprising of Arjun Masters, Shweta Duggal and Saiteja Vangala have won 5th LAWASIA International Moot Competition, 2010 held on November 11-14, 2010 held at New Delhi.
• The NLUD team comprising of Aditya Singha, Paramvir Singh and Devanshu Sajlan, who have won the 3rd Justice Hidayatullah National Memorial Moot Court Competition held on October 22-24, 2010 organized by HNLU, Raipur. Aditya Singha secured the best Speaker and cash prize of Rs.5,000/- & Devanshu Sajlan was adjudged the best Researcher & cash prize of Rs.5,000/-. Team won Rs.25,000/- as the wining cash prize.
• The NLUD team comprising of Nishant Bhaskar, Nitika Dwivedi and Salmoli Choudhuri have attained the Third Position in 4th Annual NALSAR Justice Bodh Raj Sawhny Memorial Moot Court Competition, 2010 held on October 8-10, 2010 organized by NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. The Judges appreciated and lauded the performance of the NLUD team.
• The NLUD team comprising of Hardeep Singh, Sameer Dawar and Paramvir Singh was ranked 3rd in the Ist International Air Law Moot Court Competition held on March 3-6, 2010 at NLUD Campus. Hardeep Singh was awarded as the best Oralist and awarded a scholarship by Ministry of Transport, The Netherlands for LL.M. Programme in the Air & Space Law at Laiden University, The Netherlands.
• The NLUD team comprising of Aditya Sharma, Aayush Srivastava and Mohit Sharma reached the Quarter Finals of K.K. Luthra Memorial Moot Court Competition organized by Faculty of Law, University of Delhi from January 15-17, 2010.
