  • Two Day Seminar on Changing Landscape of Scholarly Writings and Publications, March 24-25, 2017, Keynote address was delivered by Prof. Thomas J Stipanowich, William H. Webster Chair in Dispute Resolution and Professor of Law , Pep- perdine University, Malibu, CA.
  • Center for Criminology & Victimology ,NLUD and Helena Kennedy Center for International Justice , Sheffield Hallam University organised a Training of Trainers workshop in Collaboration with the BPR&D, New Delhi. An expert team consisting of Dr. Sunita Toor & Mr. Peter conducted an intensive three days session at National Law University Delhi from April 5 - 7, 2017 to mainly focusing on gender issues.
  • This Workshop was Offered To Postgraduate Students And Legal Faculty By UK And Indian Scholars In The Critical Realist Tradition: Dr Henrique Carvalho (Warwick), Professor Alan Norrie (Warwick), Dr Craig Reeves (Birkbeck, London), Prof. B.B.Pande, Prof. G.S. Bajpai, Prof. Ratna Kapur. It Offered, And Invited Presentations From Indian Colleagues. April 6-7, 2017
  • The Centre for Criminology & Victimology at National Law University Delhi in association with Counsel to Secure Justice (CSJ) organized an event “Stakeholder’s Dialogue on Restorative Justice on May 20, 2017. Mr. Jonathan Derby from Counsel to Secure Justice (CSJ) introduced the notion of Restorative Justice. Mr. Jonathan Derby along with Ms. Urvashi Tilak (CJS) took session.
  • National Law University, Delhi in collaboration with Herbert Smith Freehills LLP organized the 4th edition of the International Negotiation Competition from 08 – 10 September 2017. The competition, which was started in 2014, is the first of its kind in India.
  • A three day mini-course on Private International Law was conducted by the Centre for Transnational Commercial Law (CTCL) at National Law University, Delhi under the aegis of National Academy of Law Teachers (NALT) from September 11-13, 2017. Prof. Symeon C. Symeonides, Dean Emeritus & Alex L. Parks Distinguished Chair in Law at the Willamette University College of Law, Salem, Oregon, USA was invited to take a course on Comparative Private International Law. Prof. Symeonides for having come all the way from the USA to teach this course.
  • The Center for Corporate Law and Governance, National Law University, Delhi conducted a GIAN course on European Competition Law from Sept 11-15, 2017. The course was conducted by Prof. Dr. Bernd Oppermann, Dean, Faculty of Law and Chair for German, European and International Private Law and Commercial Law at Law of Faculty, Leibniz University Hanover, Germany.
  • On 16th - 18th February, the Appellate Body of the WTO organized WTO@20 Conference in collaboration with NLUD. The event saw the participation of several Appellate Body members of the WTO, most prominently Mr Ujal Singh Bhatia, the current Chairperson. Leading Academicians, International Lawyers, Diplomats and Policy Makers attended the Conference.
  • A Trinational Winter University was held at National Law Uniiversity, Delhi from 20 to 26 February 2017 in collaboration with Universite Paris Ouest Nanterre LaDefense, and Universitat Potsdam. Prof. (Dr.) Tobias LETTL, Professor, Universität Potsdam, and Prof. (Dr.) Stephanie Rohlfing-Dijoux, Professor, Université Paris Ouest Nanterre.
  • The Centre for Criminology and Victimology and The Centre for Constitutional Law, Policy and Governance at the National Law University, Delhi in collaboration with the Pepperdine University School of Law organized a two day Conference on Pre Trial Processes under the aegis of IQAC on the 14th and 15th of March 2017.   • With an objective of maintaining and enhancing collaboration between the two institutions, the National Law University, Delhi and Pepperdine University School of Law signed an agreement of cooperation in the month of March 2017.
