MESSAGE

PROF. (DR.) G. S. BAJPAI

The year 2019 was a landmark in the journey of the Centre for Criminology
and Victimology at NLUD. Under the patronage and tutelage of Prof. (Dr.)

Ranbir Singh and Prof. B. B. Pande, the Centre undertook numerous
activities to advance knowledge and discourse in the fields of criminology,
victimology and victim justice administration. In 2019, the Centre saw

growth not only in terms of commencement, handling and completion of
major research projects; multiple publications; and organisation of events,
but also in terms of manpower and infrastructure. Through this brochure,
we hope to share with you, some of the major achievements of the Centre

and its staff. 5
